Website Terms And Lingo

For users to be able to access your site through search engines, you must have two requirements: a domain name and a host/space.

1.Domain Name System:

Domain Name System(DNS), is a core service of the Internet. As a distributed database that can map Domain names and IP addresses to each other, it can make it easier for people to access the Internet without having to remember the IP address data string that can be read directly by the machine.

2.Web Hosting:

Web hosting is a service that allows organizations and individuals to post a website or web page onto the Internet. A web host, or web hosting service provider, is a business that provides the technologies and services needed for the website or webpage to be viewed on the Internet. Websites are hosted or stored, on special computers called servers. When Internet users want to view your website, all they need to do is type your website address or domain into their browser. Their computer will then connect to your server and your webpages will be delivered to them through the browser.

3.Hypertext Markup Language:

HTML(Hypertext Markup Language) is a markup language. It includes a series of tags. These tags can unify the document format on the network and make the scattered Internet resources connect into a logical whole. HTML text is a descriptive text composed of HTML commands that describe text, graphics, animations, sounds, tables, links, etc.

4.Cascading Style Sheets:

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a computer language used to represent file styles such as HTML or XML (a subset of the Standard Universal Markup Language). CSS can not only modify the web page statically but also cooperate with a variety of scripting languages to dynamically format the elements of the web page.

5.JavaScript:

JavaScript (JS) is a function-first, lightweight, interpreted, or just-in-time programming language, it is based on prototyping, multi-paradigm dynamic scripting language, and supports object-oriented, imperative, and declarative (such as functional programming) styles.
